Misadventure In Little Lon is the world's first augmented reality game true crime game. To solve a crime from 1910, players explore heritage sites, collecting clues and questioning the witnesses who lived in Melbourne's notorious slum district.
Husband and wife team Emma Ramsay and Andy Yong have been partners in 10Tickles Animation and Design since 2014. Andy has over 20 years experience as an artist/animator, 10 years within the games industry. Emma's background is in business and marketing. Supported by a small business grant from the City Of Melbourne, they were able to expand into developing their own augmented reality games. As fans of true crime and gaming enthusiasts they recognised an opportunity to create games for the increasingly popular true crime genre. With assistance from Film Victoria and in collaboration with Creative Victoria, True Crime Mysteries: Misadventure In Little Lon launched as part of Melbourne International Games Week 2019.
